How I love to stay healthy: Having grown up on a farm in South Africa - I enjoy most sports and spending time outdoors. I am currently doing a lot of trail running and triathlons as well as getting to the gym as often as I can.

Why did I join team CWC? I have been a practitioner in Exercise and Fitness since 2003 and over the last 16 years have worked as an international trainer primarily focusing on corrective fitness and training.  I knew there was a higher purpose for me and began my own self-development journey in 2016 to understand my ‘why’ and finding my God given purpose on my life’s journey within the fitness industry, working on developing my strengths and understanding where my weaknesses are.  It has always been a passion of mine in teaching those I work with on the importance of training the correct way within their structural alignment and understanding where they misaligned within their body. It has been such a blessing to me to have worked and helped hundreds of people from different ages with a variety of different goals whether it was weight-loss, increase muscle, nutritional plans, injuries, increasing their energy levels, getting better flexibility and mobility.

It was important to me to help educate people to make a lifestyle change and transform their overall wellness within their mind, body and spirit, by eating, moving and thinking right to teach.  Core Wellness Centres shares this vision I have been searching for and feel so blessed that our mission’s are in alignment with one another.

What CWC means to me: CWC is not only a place where I work, but it's a place where I can find inspiration everyday, whether it's from the hard working clients or knowledgeable team members.

How I love to stay healthy: Boxing, trail running, weight training and any outdoor activities like surfing. Also I love eating so I get quite creative when making healthy delicious dishes.

Fun Fact about me: I love doing handstands (anytime/anywhere).

Why did I join team CWC? CWC to me means a selection of well-rounded therapies, where all aspects of your life are taken into consideration. Whether it’s diet and exercise, injury or other obstacles that stop you from achieving your goal. The reason I joined the team is so that I can be one piece of the big puzzle that is CWC.

Why did I join team CWC? I joined CWC in 2015 after graduating from my degree exploring many areas of nutrition, human physiology, biomechanics and health promotion. This really opened my eyes to the world of health and wellbeing and the impact of educating others through promoting lifestyle changes. Why did I join team CWC? 3 years ago I started as Dr. Joe’s client and experienced first hand the positive impact the whole team has at CWC on every individual. Joanne

Why did I join team CWC? I joined CWC after initially being a client for 4 years and becoming a complete chiropractic advocate. I was, therefore, eager to join when a suitable position became available. Being part of the CWC team allows me to lead a healthy lifestyle so in turn, I am able to help others achieve their health goals.

How I love to stay healthy: Regular adjustments, gym sessions and massages, along with daily walking and/or cycling, eating as healthy as possible and keeping a gratitude journal.

Fun Fact about me: I have hypermobile thumbs.

My favourite hang out: Anywhere in our beautiful British countryside but can often be found in The Surrey Hills, The Lake District and The Yorkshire Dales.

Health inspiration: The CWC team and anyone who has turned their life around from an unhealthy to a healthy lifestyle, whether it be mentally, physically and/or emotionally.

Why did I join team CWC? I initially came to CWC to bring my son in for a sports massage but never imagined then that I'd end up being part of the team! That first visit turned out to be the start of my own journey back to health and wellness. It really was a turning point in my life and now I get to play my part in helping others on their own wellness journey. It doesn't get much better than that! 

How I love to stay healthy: Being out and about with my dog, Frodo; working out in the gym and going to Zumba.
